Final Tea facts- weird and wacky

December 3, 2010

The optimal recommended number of cups of tea to drink a day is 4.

I wonder how many is optimal for writers?? Can we have 6-8 mugs without worrying??

                     Absolutely!  Because we’re unique!

Tea breaks are a tradition that have been with us for approximately 200 years.

And I hope to be around for another 100 years to enjoy them!

By mid 18th century, tea had replaced ale and gin as the drink of the masses and had become Britain’s most popular beverage.

Well tea is good, but there is nothing like a cool gin at the end of a hot tropical day!

Hope you’ve enjoyed learning a little more about tea as much as I have,

            Suzi Love.

Put a couple of teaspoons of bicarbonate of soda (depending on size of Thermos) and fill with boiling water. Leave several hours or overnight and rinse clean in the morning. Works. Also good to do after putting tea/coffee in Thermos.
